Attend the South Kansas City Alliance Economic Development Summit - Planning for Growth at Avila University on Saturday, October 11 and learn about South Kansas City as a region in which a number of development projects have been implemented or are in the works by companies making a significant investment in their undertaking. We'll hear from Cerner, Oxford on the Blue, Burns & McDonnell, NorthPoint, and others - all under one roof - bringing thousands of jobs into South Kansas City. Discover this community's assets and resources and learn what opportunities exist in the areas of housing, jobs, services and new startup businesses based on the projected growth.

This free event, hosted by The South Kansas City Alliance (SKCA) and Stacey Johnson-Cosby with ReeceNichols Country Club Plaza office, President, will enlighten REALTORS® with breakout sessions on topics such as community-led entrepreneurship, preparing through education for the future jobs, neighborhood revitalization and South Kansas City housing stats and trends which will highlight current housing and future housing opportunities.

Featured speaker will be Jim DeLisle, Ph.D., Director of the Lewis White Center for Real Estate at the UMKC Bloch School of Management. DeLisle will give an overview of our community’s assets, resources and opportunities, as well as share some action steps to point us toward continued growth.

*Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and the National Association of REALTORS® or any of its state associations or local boards will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local political candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.
