The Northland Region will be a hosting a three hour elective CE class, Freddie Mac’s New Financing Strategies at the KCI Expo Center (11730 N. Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64153) on the morning of August 21. The class is FREE of charge to KCRAR members and includes a plated breakfast sponsored by Freddie Mac. Breakfast will be served at 8:15 a.m. Class will begin promptly at 9 a.m. You must make your reservation online.
We will be hosting our first KCRAR Northland Region Poker Tournament. The tournament will be Texas Hold ‘Em style for amateurs as well as seasoned poker players. We’ll have appetizers and drink tickets for all who play. It will be held on August 21 in the Northland. Keep your eyes and ears open for further information.

FREDDIE MAC is coming to town: Special class on financing in August. YOU choose your site.
Freddie Mac, otherwise known as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, has revised its mortgage programs just as Fannie Mae and FHA have done. You’ll want to hear what they have to say regarding their Home Possible and Alt 97 mortgages, the housing market, appraisals, affordable seconds, challenged credit, allowable income sources, credit scores, refinance programs, property eligibility, jumbos, credit unions, and much more.
KCRAR has made special arrangements to bring them to town, so take advantage of this rare event.
They’re providing the food, too, free of charge. Come join their National Training Manager, Tom Ward, as he gets you up to date on the important financing issues of today. The 2008 Show Me Region RPAC Auction will be in memory of a woman who gave her ALL to the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. The 2008 Marge Pfaff Memorial RPAC Auction will be held on August 6 at the Pavilion of Logan Woods at 14831 E. 40 Highway, Kansas City, MO 64136. The event will start at 6 p.m. The cost is $20 per person before deadline of July 31, and $25 after deadline; the fee will serve as an RPAC donation. The RPAC committee is meeting and working on bringing you a fun and laid back RPAC Auction!
We need your help providing action items and sponsorship! Please contact Jennifer Dreiling at KCRAR, CL Tally, our RPAC Auction Chairman, or a committee member for details. Invitations and reservations for the event will be available soon.

Bruce will cover the changes in the regulations for home inspectors and what you need to be aware of for your buyers and sellers. Tracey will make sure you know the latest and greatest ways to keep yourself safe in this business. We will meet at 3:00-4:30pm here at the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® classroom.
