Your first step is Orientation Day!

A vital step in starting your career is to become familiar with the benefits and programs of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and learning how to navigate Heartland Multiple Listing Service.

We arranged a schedule which enables you to attend two important classes in one day while you are at our location:

1) KCRAR New Member Orientation - 9 a.m. to noon

• Breakfast is included starting at 8:30 a.m.
• This includes information about programs and benefits and also the mandatory Codeof Ethics training required of all REALTORS®. You are expected within 60 days of joining.

2) Optional afternoon programs on the same day (Lunch is on your own after morning Orientation. Fast food is nearby and we have snack machines. Or you can check your email and relax in the Member Lounge off the KCRAR lobby. If you opt out of these, or if they are full, you’ll need to attend them at a later time.) Choose from either:

• KCRAR Forms, 1-4 p.m. This provides three hours of continuing education credit for both Missouri and Kansas license renewal. And, you’ll learn the high points of our 2012 revised sales contracts and forms. Knowing about these new forms is essential!

• Heartland MLS Orientation Class, 12:30-4:00 p.m. This is required of all new HMLS members within 60 days of joining. No one can survive without it!

To register for any of these programs, log in with your MLS ID and password here. Then look under Education & Event Registration and select what you need: “Education Calendar and Registration-Live Classes” (then find “New Member Orientation”) All courses are free of charge for KCRAR members.
