Affiliate Members such as inspection companies and appraisers may now lease Supra keys. Many have obtained a key to provide better service to REALTORS®. This can be a real time and money saver for REALTORS®, often eliminating the need to meet Affiliate members at properties.

Affiliate keys work just like other keys, except that Affiliates will need to enter a “CBS Code” in addition to their PIN number to open iBoxes. Each iBox is already programmed with a “CBS Code” – please don’t change that setting on your iBoxes.

When Affiliate Members call to make an appointment to enter one of your listings, they’ll ask you for that listing’s lockbox CBS Code and they must have that code to open the box.

They’re part of the paperwork you received when you picked up your iBoxes at the exchange. If you have registered your iBoxes, your CBS codes are available at KIM.

In order to fully utilize the Supra system, including receiving showing information, you must first register you iBoxes at the KIM website. You need to know their serial numbers and shackle codes to register your iBoxes.

When you register them, you may also assign listing IDs to each of your iBoxes. This will allow listing addresses to appear on showing activity reports.

To register your iBoxes:

Visit the agent website at www.supraekey.com.

Select “Log on to KIM” from the links on the left-hand side of the page.

Select “KS-Kansas City Regional” from the drop-down list of Associations.

Login using your Key number and PIN code.

Select the ADD NEW KEYBOX link.

Follow the onscreen instructions to enter the serial numbers and shackle codes of your iBoxes. If you’re assigning the iBox to a listing at this time, enter the listing ID for the address of the listing.

Each time you move an iBox to a new listing, be sure to change the listing ID on the KIM website. The address of the correct listing will then appear on showing activity reports.
